Located 10km north of Nice & on a mountainside, this restaurant is basically in the middle of nowhere. It is managed by ONE PERSON who runs the show, from greeting to cooking to serving. There are only about 5 or 6 tables, the cuisine is typically 'Meridionale', and the view is spectacular. A must!
No mention of sandwiches or fast food please!

Sitting on the bank of the river Seine, with an unbeatable view on the Louvres palace, this true Parisian "Brasserie" will offer you a delicious and true French cuisine. Ask for Guillaume -the manager- and let him know you are being sent by me.
ISLAND IN THE SUN ...
Drifting further away from the French Riviera, I could not close this address book without a little detour across the Caribbean Sea to recommend what is in my view the best restaurant on the island of Saint Barth.
